Bromley Heath Development Centre
Welcome to the Bromley Heath United Development Centre - we are inviting children who are currently in Reception or Year 1. For the Year 1 children this will act as a pathway into playing for Bromley Heath United ‘Under 7s’ from September 2026. FA licensed DBS checked coaches. Emphasis on having fun and enjoyment, with all abilities welcome. Starts Thursday 20th November - Mangotsfield Secondary School Sports Hall BS16 9LH. Sessions held weekly 530 - 630pm during term time. £6.00 per session as part of a block booking after trial.

What you need to know...
The BHU Development Centre (DC) is supported by the club Development Officer and coaching is provided by Sporting Chance PE & Sports Provision.
The first session will be a FREE trial for all attending but you will still need to book online so that we have all details required for registration and safeguarding purposes. Initially this will be the first of a 5 week block up until Christmas (20th, 27th November, 4th, 11th, 18th December). Sessions will be term time only at a cost of £6.00 per session - only available as a block booking once each child has had a free trial.
At your first session please bring with you a drink, appropriate clothing and footwear (sportswear, trainers, and shin pads), and any necessary medication.
Clubs aims...
Bromley Heath United is an FA accredited grassroots football club. We are bound by the FA to ensure appropriate saftey measures, safegaurding protocals, and coaching methods are in place to support all chidlren and adutls attending the BHU Development Centre. The environment we create is designed to be fun, enjoyable, and accessible for all abilities of children. We operate an inclusive appraoch to coaching football which helps support whole-child development. The children will play fun and engaging games and develop their football skills through ball mastery and skills based activities. We will introduce small-sided games to promote an understanding of match play and rules as the children develop. Every child MUST have a responsible adult with them at each session and they will need to be registered on our system to attend. If you are new to the sessions please make yourself and your child known to our coaching team so that we can ensure they feel welcome and ready to join in!
