Sporting Chance provide a range of extra-curricular clubs for children in EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Our excellent team of coaches aim to inspire, develop, and engage your children in additional sporting opportunities beyond the school day. We will be providing After School Clubs (330-445pm). Tuesdays
Y1-4 Gymnastics: This is an entry level gymnastics club that will focus on developing a range of balance, floor shapes, travelling, and generally aim to engage all abilities to try gymnastics and enjoy the challenges set.
Thursdays
Y3-6 Futsal: Our ever popular morning club Futsal is a skill-based develpment game played on a hard court smaller than a football pitch, featuring a ball that is easier to control and perform skills and tricks. This club will aim to develop skills and tricks as well as play the game of Futsal.
Mondays
Y3-Y4 Football : Football club includes skill based activities such as dribbling, close control, passing, shooting, attacking, defending, shielding the ball, and matchplay.
Tuesdays
Y1-Y2 Football: Football club includes skill based activities such as dribbling, close control, passing, shooting, attacking, defending, shielding the ball, and matchplay.
Y2-Y6 Minority Sports (*BRAND NEW*): This is a brand new club features alternatvie sports and activities such as Indoor Kurling, Ultimate Frisbee, Lacrosse, Archery, Kabbadi, and Dodgeball.
Wednesdays
Y1-Y6 Dance: This is an entry level dance club that will focus on developing dance including contempary, street dance and others. We aim to engage all abilities to try dancing and enjoy the challenges set.
Y1-Y2 Superstars: Featuriung a variety of sports throughout the term such as; football, tennis, cricket, basketball, dodgeball, athletics, netball, rounders,, and many more.
Y-Rec Superstars (*BRAND NEW*): Featuriung a variety of sports throughout the term such as; football, tennis, cricket, basketball, dodgeball, athletics, netball, rounders,, and many more.
Fridays
Y1-Y4 Athletics: Athletics is a club with plenty of track and field events to practice, with weekly competitions, and personal best challenges. A range of indoors and outdoors events.
Term 3 & 4 clubs will start week commencing 1st January and finish week ending 29th March, running from the end of the school day until 445pm - 12 weeks excluding Monday 1st January, Tuesdays 2nd January Inset Day, Friday 29th March Bank Holiday and February half term. Children should attend school 'club ready' on the day of their club. Please ensure your child is wearing their Mangotsfield PE kit for clubs. At your first session please bring with you a drink, appropriate clothing and footwear (pe kit/trainers), a rain jacket (outdoor clubs), a water bottle, and any necessary medication.
Once you have signed up and paid you are guaranteed a space. You do not have to wait to be told your child has a place, the online system automatically manages the volume of spaces available for each club. We have now introduced a termly payment option as well as bi-termly so you can opt to book and split payments. Payment can be made on the website (debit or credit card), via bank transfer, or by childcare vouchers. If paying by childcare vouchers then please book via the website as normal and select 'PAY BY CHILDCARE VOUCHERS' at checkout, making reference to childcare vouchers in the notes. Your confirmation email will direct you to the childcare voucher section of our website for details on how to pay.
Clubs are booked and paid for in advance of the term. You can choose to book a term at a time to split costs or book both terms. If you would like to book a term at a time then please get in contact with us.
Booking multiple clubs? Book 2 clubs and save £5.00, book 3 clubs save £7.50. This offer applies to multiple clubs and/or children in the same family.
All children attending clubs should meet in the studio at 330pm, years Reception, 1, and 2 will be escorted here by their club coach / teacher - they should already be wearing thier school PE kit as per 'club ready' rules. After the club has finished children are to be collected from the main entrance of the school by their named adult at 445pm. If pick up arrangements change on any particular week then you must contact us directly giving detail of the named person collecting your child(ren).
Please ensure all children have the following...PE kit (joggers), trainers, shin pads for football, waterproof coat, and water. In the event of hot weather please ensure all children have a cap and sunscreen.
